Console
The DevTools tab where the page's code reports errors, warnings, and messages.
What it is
The Console is where a web page talks back. When its code crashes, a red error appears here; yellow lines are warnings; plain lines are messages developers left on purpose with console.log.
If something on a page doesn't work, the Console is the first place to look. A blank screen with no visible error almost always has one waiting here.
When you report a problem, copy the full red message, including the file name and line number on the right. That one line often tells an agent exactly where the bug is.
How to ask for it
“Nothing happens when I click Save.”
“Clicking Save on the profile page does nothing. The Console shows: "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'email') at ProfileForm.tsx:42". Fix the cause, not just the symptom.”
Pasting the Console error gives the agent the exact failure and the line it happened on.
